How many teams can the NBA possibly field in Europe and Asia, and where would they be located?

What cities in Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia, have indoor venues that can seat 15,000+ people, and can potentially house an NBA team?

How many teams can the NBA possibly field in Europe and Asia, and where would they be located?www.nba.com

In China and Japan there are already professional basketball leagues, so surely they have venues. Japan also hosted the FIBA Tournament a couple years ago. There are several leagues in Europe, so it shouldn't be difficult to find a venue there either. If they were to expand there, it would be nice to see 6-10 teams or so.

What possible nba teams is sun ming ming supposed to go to?

the nba team

What possible nba teams is sun ming ming supposed to go to?nba salary

None. The 7 foot 9, 370 pounder doesn't have the talent or dedication to make the NBA. he's currently dinking around the aba and is nothing more than a marketing ploy.

BTW: basketball wiz the 6 foot 9 shooting guard called sun yue who you showed a link to going as the 57th pick is not the giant sun ming ming

If you are talking about the 7'6 - 7'7 center from China who just learned how to play basketbal in the past couple of years and is now playing in a development league, I hear it is going to be the Utah Jazz.
Frankly, I'm not sure Ming Ming will go to the NBA anytime soon, and if he does, I don't really think he'll make much impact. He's soooo slow and awkward because of his medical condition (brain chip pushed against his petuitary gland which caused his giganticism. They fixed it, but now he has a loose piece of bone in there and that's not good. Or something like that.)

Yeah, I'm not sold on Sun Ming Ming having much of an NBA career.
Well online in some Mock Drafts it looks like he will be drafted by the Utah Jazz and will be the 57th pick.

Why are some NBA teams wearing white on away games?

I have recently noticed that during several NBA games, the road team is wearing their white jerseys. I know that the rule used to be that the home team always wore white. Did the rule recently change, and why?

Why are some NBA teams wearing white on away games?nba salaries

Becuase the home team gets to pick the jerseys they want to wear.

Most of the time they pick they're alternate jerseys (for example Suns orange, or Pistons red), which are usually a dark color, forcing the away team to wear white.

Why are some NBA teams wearing white on away games?nba playoff ,nba teams

cuz white is pimpin
because they have more than one choice on jerseys.
Recently, NBA heritage week was in session, with teams celebrating their older teams and wearing "classic" jerseys. The reason for teams wearing the away jerseys, is that the team's away jerseys usually have the team's "true" and more prominent colours.

Hope this helps.

Would transplants from NBA help some NBA teams?

I think Moss is fundamentally a tall, fast basketballer. That got me thinking that there are several in the NBA who would make awesome wide receivers like Moss. What tall and quick NBA players would be able to be transplanted to the NFL? Imagine Micheal Jordan as a wide receiver? Well, younger, like Lebron or somebody off the Celtics? It might really be interesting. I would recruit with that in mind. Every NFL team needs a Moss these days. Very tall and quick. Nobody in NFL can jump with Moss. Need a few more to spread around.

Would transplants from NBA help some NBA teams?nba hoops

no. nfl players can take punishment like no other atheletes. imagine jordan catching a pass over the middle and then getting smoked by someone like urlacher.( did i spell that right?) anyway. not pretty. not a good idea.

Would transplants from NBA help some NBA teams?nba 2k7 ,nba teams

no
TO is faster but Moss wound be a good person to get no one on him at times.
Well yea, I would take Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates. Also Ronald Curry.

All former basketball players in college.

Sadly it would be funny...could you see Yao Ming being a WR?...lmfao! ahahah...that would be funny.

Good luck!!

Cities without NBA teams?

The Sonics are possibly moving. Heres a list of cities that I think need a NBA franchise. Louisville, San Deigo, Baltimore, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Las Vegas, St Louis?

Any other cites in consideration? What city deserves a team?

Providence RI im so lonely here mayne smallest state we need sumthin!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Well they can't all have teams.. rapid expansion will leave some clubs bankrupt.
Baltimore would support a team the best out of the cities you have listed. San Diego, much like Miami has too many things to do, so even though there's plenty of people, they wouldn't support the NBA that well. When Miami was bad, nobody went neither.

Las Vegas will never happen because of legal gambling in that city.
I would like to say San Diego but southern California already has 2 teams, the Lakers and the Clippers so i think they have their share of teams already. Oklahoma City has an adopted team in the Hornets so they would also go at the bottom of my list. I like to see teams spread out over the country so i think that Baltimore might be just a little too close to the Washington Wizards in D.C. So after narrowing these down a bit, i think that out of your list of locations i would like to see a team either in Kansas City, St. Louis or Las Vegas. I think Las Vegas would be pretty cool. Can you imagine the amount of money getting put on them at the sports books if they had a home team?!?!?
The way that Oklahoma CIty took in the Hornets, and sold out their arena for a team that wasn't really theirs was nice. They should get 1st shot for their own team. Las Vegas should be 2nd, but there will always be the gambling issues. I would like Tampa Bay to get some consideration, as well as St. Louis and San Diego.
I think Hawaii desperately needs an NBA team and if Toronto can do it so can a city in Hawaii.
You cant just go adding tons to teams to any city with an arena. You will dilute the talent just like the NHL did.

- Louisville loves basketball but has no NBA level arena.

- San Diego probably also has no NBA level arena. How would the Lakers and Clippers feel. Might get too crowded down there.

- Baltimore is probably too close to Washington.

- OK City showed they will support a team when the Hornets were there. Need to upgrade the arena to get a team of their own.

- KC and St Louis both have arenas and there are no teams in the middle of the country. One of them might be a good choice.

- Vegas needs a NBA level arena.
Sonic's owner will head for the Midwest. OKC first and KC.
I think either St. Louis or Las Vegas would be top consideration if Sonics decide to move out of pacific northwest...which I doubt would happen....St. Louis is one of great sports town and everybody loves the Vegas baby. lol
Buffalo NY needs a new team. We used 2 have the Buffalo Braves. Now they are the LA Clippers. Oklahoma City has a team. The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.

Word on the street is that the Sonics are most likely headed to OK City if they end up leaving Seattle. They're going to have a solid young team next year and the years to come, so maybe that'll be enough to bring the fans back and keep them there.
Michigan: Great Lake Giants
Frankly, they will not move all the way east as they are a Western team. Unless re-alignment occurs, travel expenses would be a true burden for a Western conference team. New Orleans, Minnesota and Memphis all have large travel expenses owners hate paying. However, there is a serious untapped market in the southern part of the Midwest. I believe Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Kansas City.

Due to ownerships wanting large corporations to support major league teams, St. Louis is probably the most feasible option. If they stay out west, look for them to end up in Las Vegas.

Oklahoma City. They had more sellout games than any other team during the regular season last year.

Why ? If you don't make school team why don't you go practice ? That would seem to be the logical thing.

Can NBA teams combine trade exceptions?

Can an NBA team combine separate trade exceptions? The Phoenix Suns have two (from trading Kurt Thomas and James Jones separately). If combined, the exceptions would be worth at least $10 million. Is this allowed?

Can NBA teams combine trade exceptions?nba referee

A team cannot combine the exceptions for one player. The Suns have two exceptions and must use them separately on two players.
