Head to head competition. Not sure what is after that.
They decide it using the season series between the two teams. Like in 2004, New Jersey and Cleveland had the same record but New Jersey was the one that got into the playoffs because they won their games against Cleveland that year.

well... that never happens cuz games between those 2 teams have to be win by one another
they look at who won the games during the year!
What the leauge is going to do is that they take a look at the season series, if the season series is tied, point system will be used.
it depends on their season series with the team, if they have a 3 games to 1 season series, that team gets a higher seed than the other team
